I have a Experience Builder Dev. Edition map application built with version 1.17. The customer doesn't want map popups on by default. They want to be able to enable/disable popups for each layer individually in the map.
The problem is that the "enable popup" for each layer works, BUT "disable popup" doesn't work. So, the user can turn popups on but can't turn them off again.
In the Map Layers widget, I have toggled on the "Enable or Disable Popups" toggle. This creates a little popup/gear icon to the right of each layer in the Map Layers widget. Initially a tooltip appears on the icon that says "Enable Popup." The user clicks on the icon and the popup is enabled. Good so far. Now the tooltip on the icon says "Disable Popup." The user clicks on the icon -- and nothing happens. The tooltip still says "Disable Popup" and the popup remains enabled.
The map used is in ArcGIS Online and the layers in the map have popups disabled by default.
The map widget in the application has "Enable Popups" toggled on under "Options".
The only workaround I have found is if I turn on another item in the Map Layers list of options that will result in the "three dots" appearing to the right of each layer instead of the little popup/gear icon, then the enable/disable popup command seems to work. So I am displaying "Visibility Range" or "Details" as an option for each layer even though I don't want to show these things. It is the only way to get the popup toggle to function.
Is this a Bug that will be fixed soon? Am I missing something? Are there any other workarounds?
Thank you for information from others who have seen this problem/issue!
