I am trying to append features from a FGDB to a feature service, but I only want a subset of selected features from the FGDB. The tool runs but it ignores the selection.
I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.5.2.
This worked fine in Pro 3.4
There was a strikingly similar bug with the new SQL-based Field Calculator that introduced in 3.5; it was ignoring both selections & queries and was a fairly big deal when it was first discovered. I'm just about to walk out of the office, so I don't have the time to pull the bug number for you, but there should already be one.
Either way, though, I'd put in a formal ticket to ESRI. This is either already reported, and they can give you an ETA on a patch and/or workaround instructions, or it's a new bug no one's noticed, and they can get it on their tracker to fix for everyone.
