Extra space when embedding StoryMap in Squarespace site with embed code

I'm testing out the new StoryMaps advanced embed via scripts to embed a story in a Squarespace site. It looks much nicer than iframe, but there's a lot of extra space above the embedded content that I can't get rid of. I already got rid of the extra space in squarespace taken up by the code block (https://schwartz-edmisten.com/blog/remove-extra-space-below-embeds), and based on the colors I think the remaining extra space is coming with my embedded storymap somehow. I'm an html newbie - any ideas on how to get rid of this with the embed code?
