ArcGIS3DObjectSceneLayer in Local Mode?

Question

Hi,

I'd like to utilize the ArcGIS3DObjectSceneLayer however it seems to only work when the map is in Global mode but I need it in local mode.

Am I missing something?

I'm trying to use "https://basemaps3d.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/OpenStreetMap3D_Buildings_v1/SceneServer", "Building Layer"

as ArcGIS 3DObject Scene Layer, Opacity 1 and visible of course true.

Hi,

The current release (v1.7, November 2024) does not reproject the WGS84 global buildings to Web Mercator in Local map mode, but for our upcoming release in April we plan to enhance the SDK with support for this combination.

Note there are newer layers available than the original OSM 3D Buildings layer you mention above.
