It's normal?
I'm going to guess that datastore has to be at 11.4 to be a monitored component
I'm getting the same (for 11.1), but the documentation says it just needs to be 10.7.1 or higher.

Hi folks,
Thank you all for reporting this. The team has been triaging it this morning and believe this issue is presenting specifically for ArcGIS Data Stores which were upgraded (for instance 11.1 ->11.4). Non-upgraded Data Stores do not seem to be affected. The team is working to address this and determine how best to deliver the fix.
Thanks!
I guess I had it backwards then with my reply. But other than a fresh install of a datastore at any release, how could any datastore not be upgraded?
Just another data point. I get the same error with version 10.9.1.28388 which has gone through upgrades.
Hmmm, ok. think I'm going to hold off on my upgrade from 2023.3.1 until this is resolved....
Also seeing this with 11.2.0.49116
That datastore was not upgraded from a previous version.
Just my 2¢:I wouldn't have this one issue be the sole reason not to recommend anyone upgrade to AGM 2024.1. #1. You're not losing functionality as registering the relational data store was just introduced at 2024.1.#2. Consider the ArcGIS Monitor Life Cycle, with the release of 2024.1 all 2023.3.x releases are now in mature support and will be retired on Aug 27, 2025.#3. Not to mention all the additional improvements at 2024.1 will out weigh the one ability not to register the data store until a patch is released.
yeah i was kinda rethinking that as well about an hour later. I am definitely looking forward to the other enhancements, particularly the web adaptor as I'll be able to now get at monitor from outside the firewall.
Tried:
connecting to DS (1091), upgraded many times, Failed, same error message as other posts ☹️
connecting to DS (1091), never been upgraded, work'in like a charm 🙂
hope the info helps
PS: this and the web adaptor, GOOD STUFF!
I have recently installed ArcGIS Monitor 2024.1 on Linux, but I am encountering the same issues I faced with the Enterprise version 11.4. Despite this being a fresh installation and not an upgrade, I am still experiencing the same problems.
Yes - I am seeing the same behavior with an upgraded 11.3 > 11.4 upgraded relational datastore:
I am also seeing a different mal behavior when trying to register a new Object Store type data store. This data store server previously contained a tile cache store, but I completely uninstalled data store and then re-installed data store as an Object Store at 11.4:
Same; I have the "Invalid Version 11.4.0.54309" error when trying to connect to Enterprise 11.4 Datastore, which has been upgraded at point releases since about 10.9 or so.
All,
Apologies for this issue. The Monitor team is working on a patch to resolve this. I will post an update when we have news to share. Thanks for your patience.Hope this helps,
Yes - we are seeing the same error trying to register both our 11.3 DataStore (upgraded) and our 11.4 DataStore (upgraded). Looking forward to a fix. Thanks
you know I didn't even pay attention to what you're telling me!! I hope I remember to do a check, do you happen to understand which KB you think may have had an impact?
Hi @DerekLaw and @EsriEvan,
Did you have an update from the monitor team regarding the patch to fix this issue? Also, is there an Esri BUG number that I can reference for support?
Hi @Esri_GIS,> Did you have an update from the monitor team regarding the patch to fix this issue?
The Monitor Dev team is working on the Monitor 2024.1.1 patch and we expect it to be available sometime in March. As I mentioned in my earlier in this thread, I will post an update on its release when I am ready to share.
> Also, is there an Esri BUG number that I can reference for support?
The Monitor 2024.1.1 patch will address several bugs (this is why it's taking some time to release). Please contact Tech Support and submit your issue, they will link it to the appropriate bug after reviewing it.Hope this helps,
UPDATE: the ArcGIS Monitor 2024.1.1 patch that addresses this issue is scheduled for release on March 20. Thanks for your continued patience,
