Problems with templates utility network foundation

I wanted to use the Electric Network Asset Type Map Symbology Templates with a map in the same Pro project that is created from the original Asset Package and now is a Utility Network data. I have added the UN data to my new map as subtype group layers. The names are identical. However when I want to copy these templates every single one of layers has an "Layer not matched" error. What am I doing wrong? 

Very much looking forward to your help as I feel like the only person not knowing how this magic works! 🙂

If you're trying to copy templates between individual feature class layers vs subtype group layers, I don't believe this can be accomplished.

Unfortunately, if you don't have a starting map with symbology and templates already set for subtype group layers, you'll need to configure one from scratch (add SGL, add symbology). If you do have a donor map with SGLs, I'd just do a save-as of the mapx. This will allow you to make adjustments between different maps without starting from scratch each time.
