Layerlist Search Option

The LayerList widget is great! Our organization and I'm sure many others have a TON of layers to sift through. It would be great to have a simple filter/textbox for users to use to filter down the available layers in the widget.

Hi @MichaelSnook , I'm so happy to get some positive feedback about the LayerList.

This is a great idea, so great in fact that we've already implemented it. Beginning at version 4.29 we added a filter input. You can enable this by setting the LayerList.visibleElements.filter to true. By default it will only show when filter is set to true and there are more than 10 layers in the map. Some other handy properties related to the filter are:
