Opening widget disappears when menu is used.

Question

I have an experience with two pages, one a web app, the other embedded content. When the the experience is opened it shows the app with the list widget as desired:

When I select a menu item to activate the dashboard, then return to the web app, the the display area is blank. There is no opening widget.

The user can select the list widget, but does anyone know why it doesn't activate when you return to a menu item? Is this expected behavior?

Widget controller opens widgets when it's loaded. When you switch between pages, the widget controller won't be reloaded. You may consider using buttons setting links to pages - the page will be reloaded for top windows.
