Problems with the TRACE tool

Hello to all the community

I am creating, editing and splitting polygons in ArcGIS Pro 3.2

But when I do it, the TRACE tool is not enabled to be able to divide or draw a pattern line, in this case a river.

If you can help me, I would be grateful.

In the ArcGIS Pro for the Trace tool, it says

" Trace (2D views only)—Click a line or polygon segment and draw the pointer along the boundary and other contiguous features connecting segments by tracing along them. Double-click to end the trace and make the selection."

If you're attempting to use the Trace tool in a 3d scene, then the tool would be grayed out as you see.

Hello, yes I am following the steps to the letter, but the problem is that I am working with a 3D stereo model, and it is disabled when I start the editor, so it does not allow me to use it in 3D.
