Information regarding ArcGIS Online Rest APIs and difference in APIs supported by ArcGIS online and Enterprise

Hello all,

I have been analyzing ArcGIS Online Rest APIs. I observe that Content management APIs and Ready-to-use services are common to both ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. The modules supported by Online and Enterprise seems different to me. Here's the link for both

Does Enterprise support more Rest API modules than Online?

ArcGIS Online support only four Rest API modules as shown in documentation. But somewhere i saw that Enterprise API shown in Enterprise Rest API documentation also support ArcGIS Online but are not mentioned in ArcGIS online documentation. Am i reading it wrong?
Please let me know if my understanding is correct.
