Hi all,
I'm pretty new to ArcGIS. I currently have the free ArcGIS account level and am not associated with any organization. I created a map that I would like to share publicly, but anytime I try to share it, it's still requiring a login. I can set the Share permissions of the map to Everyone (public), but the two Layers I'm using that I created cannot be shared.
One is a feature layer made from a point layer from a CSV document that I created and uploaded. It contains organization names and lat/lon values to place the pointers on the map. When I try to share this feature layer, the Everyone (public) share option is grayed out and there's a note at the bottom that "Some share level options are limited by your sharing privileges" and when I hover over the Everyone (public) share option, I see the prompt "Share level options are limited on certain item types".
The second layer is a feature layer made from a polygon layer from a geoJSON file I uploaded. This file has county shapes and racial population data. I'm having the exact same issue sharing this layer as I described above.
Upon reading some other solutions, I've added both layers to my API key's Maps, layers, and data tab, but that hasn't helped anything.
I'm looking to make this sharable with my non-profit organization and more broadly with funders who don't have an ArcGIS account.
Any guidance would be amazing. I've been working on this for a few days now and can't seem to figure out what is going on with the permissions. I can provide any more information, context, or screenshots if that would be helpful!
Thank you!
