Basemap transparency not reflected in experience builder app

Question

I created a web map in AGOL and updated the basemap transparency for the Imagery Hybrid layer to 20%. I then created an app for my map using experience builder, but the basemap transparency is not reflected in the app. Any ideas why this may be happening? Is there a work around to change the transparency of the basemap within experience builder?

I am having this basemap transparancy issue in Experience Builder and does not appear to be related to zoom level.  I'm using a map edited in the new map viewer and changing the basemap transparancy from there.

I resolved the issue. It was just happening at certain zoom levels.

I've given this a test and have not been able to replicate your issue - would you be able to confirm how you are changing the transparency of the basemap?

Also, are you testing this in the new map viewer and if not, could you please give this a go to check whether that makes a difference.
