Wat is nieuw in de Briefings App 2.3?
Hier is de lijst met updates die zijn toegevoegd in de app-versie 2.3.58 voor augustus 2026:

Wat is nieuw in de Briefings App 2.2?
Hier is de lijst met updates die zijn toegevoegd in de app-versie 2.2.136 voor juli 2026:
- Bijgewerkt app-ontwerp
- Inhoudzoekfunctionaliteit toegevoegd
- Offline swipe-kaarten ondersteunen nu ook offline kaarten zoals MMPK of video's naast afbeeldingen
- Universele StoryMaps-ervaring (bèta)
- Verbeterde legenda-gebruikersinterface voor de kaartlagen binnen het kaartblok
- Verbeterde 360-graden afbeeldingen met een automatische rotatieconfiguratie-optie
- Probleem met tekstgrootte voor infographicblokken in portretmodus opgelost
- Verbeterde tekstrendering en grootte voor alle lettergroottes bij weergave op kleine schermen
- Inhoudsopgave bijgewerkt om over de dia's te worden weergegeven bij weergave op een klein scherm
- Optie toegevoegd om briefings direct te delen op sociale platforms
- Optie Toon in Explorer toegevoegd voor offline briefings in de Windows-versie van de app. Dit opent de map waar de offline briefing is gedownload en maakt het gemakkelijk om briefingbestanden lokaal te kopiëren
- Beeldkwaliteit voor afbeeldingen binnen afbeeldingsblokken en afbeeldingsgalerijblokken opgelost
- Over-pagina toegevoegd. De Over-pagina bevat specifieke informatie over de app evenals nuttige links en productdocumentatie
- Meerdere kaartproblemen opgelost
- Meerdere internationaliseringsproblemen aangepakt, inclusief RTL en datum-internationaliseringsproblemen voor niet-Engelse talen
- Prestaties en crashproblemen aangepakt op iOS-, Android- en Windows-platforms
- Algemene gebruikersinterfaceverbeteringen, bugfixes en prestatieverbeteringen
Hieronder vindt u een lijst met problemen die u kunt tegenkomen bij het gebruik van deze release van de briefings-appen een preview van wat gepland is voor toekomstige releases.
Bekende problemen en beperkingen
We zijn op de hoogte van de volgende problemen en zijn van plan deze aan te pakken in een komende release.
iOS-specifiek
Een gedownload pictogram kan alleen worden weergegeven voor niet-gedownloade briefings onder het tabblad Alle Briefings (Opgelost in versie 1.0)Sommige speciale tekens worden niet correct gecodeerd in briefing-dia titels en inhoudsopgave (TOC) (Opgelost in versie 1.0)Videopictogram naast de link naar bron ontbreekt en wordt als ruimte weergegeven (Opgelost in versie 1.1.3)GIF-afbeeldingen animeren niet en worden als statische afbeelding weergegeven wanneer toegevoegd in logo- of afbeeldingsblok (Opgelost in versie 1.3.5)PDF's toegevoegd in ingesloten blok en link naar bron zijn niet scrollbaar.Briefings cards display abnormally and unclickable on "My Downloads" tab when downloading a briefing if never switch to "My Downloads" tab before. - Videos do not honor the theme background color on playing.
- Text shows single line and then truncates it on table of contents, and map pop-up identify for some cases.
- Bold and italic styling is not yet supported in text blocks.
- When choosing recent used URLs in dark theme, the URL will appear dark for the first time.
- When the numbered list has 10+ items, the list gets pushed right giving some space in front of single digit items.
- Video playback options - "Autoplay without controls and Autoplay with controls and loop until stopped." in express maps feature information does not work as expected.
Android specific
There may be a lag when switching tabs, showing an empty screen instead of a graphic when there are no briefings to display. - In RTL, the text in the cover slide are not right aligned when opening a briefing. But it aligns fine if you switch device's orientation.
Windows specific

Location permission if denied on windows was not responding when tapped on location request within the Map (Fixed in 2.1.29)- After installing the app on some non-English language/locale environments, it may fail to launch. In this case please install the VC++ redistribution package from https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe and then relaunch the app. Alternatively, you can install the app on an English language/locale environment first and then switch to the non-English language and launch the app successfully.
Images in expanded view do not zoom in/out for non-touch devices only.- In RTL, Details dialog is displayed at incorrect place when hovering over legend item of Donut Chart with long Title.
In RTL, Some of the text on horizontal left and center does not honor correct font color on all briefing slides.
