Allow Month or Year Choices on Date Selector

Please allow more options on the Date Selector widget in ArcGIS Dashboards. Like being able to exclude time, I would like to further simplify the selector for my users by allowing them to create either month year ranges (Jan 2020 - March 2023) or just year ranges (2020-2023) on a datetime field.

Right now, the only workarounds are to manually create these custom time ranges (very tedious and not dynamic for the future) or to create a whole new field with just the year and use a category selector. I'd rather not maintain redundant columns nor set up automation to populate it. This also wouldn't help set up month year ranges as they would be independent from each other.

I would really need to have a monthly selector.

I have to add it manually every month.

Last month the customer called because in panic that he had lost all data... but I had only forgotten to add the latest month to the selector list 😂
