I would be interested in a legend style that is a combination of adjust frame and manual columns.
The problem with manual columns is that it shrinks text and doesn't adjust its frame automatically -- something I appreciate when aligning items on a layout. All the other legend styles require you to manually adjust the border, and there's no good way to get the handles to line up perfectly with the geometric bounds of the legend box.
The problem with adjust frame is that there is little to no control over what goes in what column. Otherwise, I like how it maintains its own handles/border without me having to eyeball and resize it every time something changes.
