Does anyone know if it is possible to disable Software update? Within my department I prefer all the users on the same version. We are utilizing 3rd party add-ins and they fail from time to time after upgrades.
This is what I needed.
On ArcGIS Pro startup page...Go to settings > uncheck "Check for updates at startup".
Tell them not to upgrade until given the go ahead.
That method has worked for my department for the 21 years I have been here.
Yes, as an adminstrator you can do this via registry keys on a per machine basis. You can read about it here - hope this helps!
