Query character length in file names to include in Generate Attachment Match Table tool

Utilizing the Generate Attachment Match Table geoprocessing tool, I would like to create a query to search the file (attachments) directory for the first "x" number of characters in the file names to attach. I see it is possible to filter by file type or name, though not sure how to create a statement to search a number of characters. For example, in the attached screenshot, I would like to search file names based on the first 12 characters only.
