Geodatabase Toolset 9.2 with ArcFM and custom com objects

Question

Hi All

Working for a large utility company with ArcFM installed and using ArcFM objects, I am running into a problem using the 9.2 Geodatabase toolset. When trying to fetch drawing speeds I receive the error attached to this post.

I have added a shape file and non-ArcFM features and proven that the draw speed tool works as expected.

Is this a known issue, is there a way to find draw speeds of layers that are ArcFM objects?

Hi Niall,

Sorry, I'm not aware of any performance metric tools for measuring the rendering of custom ArcFM objects in ArcMap.
I suggest you try asking on the ArcFM/Telvent forums:

You're correct, the GDBT 9.2 release was not designed to work with custom ArcFM objects.
This is a known limitation of the developer sample.
