Adding a MS Word/Google Docs File

Is there a way to add a Word/Google Doc file into a StoryMap? I want to enable the viewer to open this file for a more descriptive account as an option after reading the more basic summary being presented in a sidecar paragraph. Or is there another way to achieve this outcome. Thanks...

The workaround I came up w/, until I hear of a better method, was to convert my Word document into a graphic, upload it to my Google Drive, and embed it into my StoryMap.
