Can GeoEvent Server Consume Secure Rest Services?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows if the GeoEvent Server has the ability to consume secured rest endpoints or services. I know that it has the ability to consume services from SCADA, but I do not know if those are secured services or not. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
