Story Map Time Animation Widget Not Appearing When Multiple Layers in Feature Layer

Question

When placing a map with time-enabled data in a Story Map, if the feature layer with the time-enabled data contains multiple layers, the Time Animation Widget is not available. By publishing the time-enabled data as its own feature layer with no other datasets in it, the Time Animation Widget becomes available (even if you pull additional layers into the map).

Owen - The map is not public yet. I've put in a bug report with ESRI support, but I figured someone might find this helpful since I could find no documentation about it (I realize there was an update yesterday, so maybe this is a very new bug).
