From the content, if I select an object and then click on sharing, the groups do not appear

What are you trying to do exactly with the groups?
If you have a web map in your content and wanted that map to be visible to a group of members, then go Groups tap and create a new group, then add the members you want. Pl. see the below screenshot to get an idea.

Try rebuilding portal's index by going to Portal Administrator > System > Indexer > Reindex > change Mode to Full > Reindex.
