normally it is due to broken paths

but since you indicate that this is when you are zoomed in... try looking at this as a first step

cell size issues were identified in the ArcMap help, but I can't find the equivalent link for Pro

@Greta and after all the above, if they don't work, try rebuilding your overviews and replace all existing overviews (in the settings of the tool)
