Pass line geometry from Field Maps to Survey123 using url parameters

Hello all, 

I was wondering if anyone has experience with url parameters in FIeld Maps that pass the line feature's geometry to Survey123. Is it feasible currently?

We need to capture lines that represent trails in offline use, but we hope to avoid preparing offline maps due to limitations in the devices' storage. So to be safe, hope to draw lines using Field Map's offline map and utilize it in the survey to complete the rest of the questions.

We have looked at it but we were put off as you are limited by a maximum length of the resulting URL. So lines with a certain number of vertices cannot be passed to survey123.  I can share the methodology next time I m at my desktop.
