Can't update service definition

Question

I'm trying to update a service definition as per these instructions:

This is the service that I need to update.  I need to increase the maxRecordCount:

https://services6.arcgis.com/pkAymxjI3epp4VoG/ArcGIS/rest/services/WARDAT_Entities/FeatureServer

However when I get to the part that says:

* In the browser's address bar, insert 'admin' between 'rest' and 'services' in the URL like the one displayed below:

It takes me to a page that just says Token Required

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @JamesMcClellan ,

Try the following:

1.  Log into ArcGIS Online

2.  Go to the item details of the service you wish to update

3.  Click View at the bottom of the page:

This should add the URL with a token to a new tab.

5.  Add the admin portion into the URL.
