Display XY

Hello everyone,

I have multiple tables saved as xls files containing xy data. I go through the usual process of right clicking on the table and display xy coords. The process runs for less than a second and tells me it has copleted successfully however there are no new data outputs created.

Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? I have done this many times before and it has worked which makes things more furstrating!!

Possibly your coordinates are out-of-bounds or x and y is mixed-up and the shapefile is invalid. 

Are you saving to a folder workspace or FGDB, as the .shp extension might be throwing it off.

Also is the coordinate system correct for your data?

I'm guessing this is not an SDK relates question so have moved it, however please let me know if it somehow is related to Pro SDK and I'll move it back.
