Downloading maps for offline use

Question

when downloading a map for offline use on the Collector app for iOS, maps will always fail to download if the Collector app does not remain active on the screen of the device. If I leave the app while a download is in progress the download will fail. The fail will also occur if the screen reaches the screen lock time out and goes dark.

Are there any fixes for this?

Thanks for the suggestion. However, both settings were already as suggested when the error was occurring. I should add that I have experienced this issue for the past 6 years.

I am not an iPhone user, but could you check if these steps work?

1. Turn Off Low Power mode (Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode)

2. Turn On Background App Refresh (Settings >  General >  Background App Refresh). Also turn on Background Refresh at App level, if required.
