Workforce. Workers and Assignments

Hi there,

Hope someone can help me. I am attempting to create a workforce project and am wondering if it is possible to change where the workers and assignment layer pull their information from.

I have a survey that allows workers to sign up as well as a survey that creates assignments and am hoping to utilize the workforce project to manage these items.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

No, it's not possible to configure or specify the feature service to be used for Workers and Assignments in Workforce.

What you're trying to do is possible, but the recommended workflow would be to start with the Workforce feature service and then build the Survey on top of it for assignment creation.

I don't know of anyone who has done this for Workers however; there are additional steps needed for Workers to be added to a Workforce project, including adding them to the Group so they have access to Workforce layers.
