Error during Create Offline Area after defining polygon area and level of detail then pressing Save.

Enterprise 10.8.1, server was federated initially with internal FQDN machine name. e.g. srv.domain.local:6443/server, but that was updated to external DNS e.g. xyz.domain.org/server in portal /sharing/rest/self/servers. URL was updated in OfflinePackaging GPService to be the external one.
I don't know if the submit job is just failing, and if so, why?
