Hi,
Does anyone know how accurate the Surface Volume Tool is?
I'm using it to calculate volume bathymetry data and comparing it to PostGIS volume calculations to get the most accuracy.
what is the input? (tin, raster etc)
resolution of the data?
accuracy of the data?
Are you seeing differences in the calculations? What does PostGIS use?
Too many factors to consider with a comparable comparison between the two.
