Confirmation message upon save and rec/post in RCE

When users click “Save” in RCE, there is no feedback from the web application (e.g., message box with 'Success!', or similar). This is the same user experience with reconciling and posting. They are unsure whether the save took, or if the system is simply not responding. Can message boxes be created to let the user know if the save and rec/post was successful?
