Automatically populate today's date when creating a new route.

In R&H Deaktop when creating a new route, can the ‘start date’ be populated with ‘today’ without having to double-click in the field? 99%  of the time when a new route is entered it will be with today's date. This will save a click or two per new route, which will add up over the course of the year. Fewer clicks = more productivity. The date field should remain editable.
