LocalMaps 2.1 is due for release in a couple of weeks and I thought it would be a good time to highlight some of the new features that we have added in to LocalMaps.
Accessing Non public maps and apps.
One of the most requested features, if you login to LocalMaps with your ArcGIS Online or Portal account, then you will see not only the public content shared to LocalMaps, but you can also see content that has been shared with you that is not public. This allows for a good seperation of content and lets you leverage the Gallery and Viewer to surface content to different departments or users outside of your organisation. As always this all driven by Portal\AGOL, so users will only see the content that has been explicitly shared with them.
