Is there a suggested approach to creating an embedded custom table view of data with buttons in a dock-able window?

It would be helpful if the sdk would allow developers to implement a table view, without having do write something like a wpf data grid component.  This way a table view of data would look the same as the other tables in pro, with ability to pan / zoom / highlight features.
