Geoform numerical default values

Question

Hi,

I cant get the default numerical values to appear on my Geoform. What gives? Is this an oversight or a technical limitation?

Hi Arlene,

I just used hints to sort of spoof the user to thinking they needed to enter a value. If I remeber correctly, if no value is input on the form then the default value is used when submitted.

Did you figure this out?  I know how to do it if we could access the form's html code.  I also want to do something similar which is make a pulldown menu of choices for the user for one of the fields.  I saw this in one of the templates but there doesn't seem to be an option for creating this.  Any ideas?

I should clarify that when I appear on the GeoForm, I mean appear in the boxes on the geoform. The values are there in the background and if you submit an entry without entering any information in to the boxes.
