can arcgis desktop work with business analyst standard

Question

I have ArcGIS Desktop 10.5. We are planning to use Business Analyst and so received a trial version of Business Standard. My question is does Business Analyst Standard work with Desktop Basic?

It should work. You need to install Business Analyst and its Data and authorize them. You could follow the installation steps in following order.

* Downloading and installing ArcGIS Desktop
* Downloading and installing ArcGIS Desktop 64-bit Geoprocessing
* Downloading and installing Business Analyst Desktop
* Downloading and installing Business Analyst 64-bit Background GP
* Installing Business Analyst 2016 data
* Authorizing your software and data licenses
* Setting up your ArcGIS Online subscription
