How do you import a map using a template into an existing project?

Question

I am trying to import a map and layout into an existing project using a template(aptx).   I am not sure on the coding, ie. what library to use.  I basically want to replicate the Import Map tool in ArcPro through code (ArcGIS Pro SDK).
