ArcMAP Crashes and deletes MXD File

It happen again. I have an mxd file with some relative small data, all located on an sde database. I went to arc catalog and selected a DWG file, i assigned the Projection, then i dragged the DWG into ArcMap, it crashed and closed ArcMap. I went to go open it again and it was gone. It deleted my MXD. Its not on recent Open nor in my documents. Anyone have any ideas???

try again, but add the data through arcmap, rather than dragging and see if the behaviour repeats itself
