Model Builder tool parameter inputs will not apply to the model in 2.6

Question

I am having issues running my model and a GP tool in Pro 2.6.  When I set all my parameters within the model builder view and run it in the MB view it is fine.  But when I try to run it as a GP tool in that toolbox it reverts back to the previously entered parameters from the model run.  I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong!  Is this a bug?

@ShelleySchulte1 - did you figure this out? I'm having a similar problem. When I run the Geoprocessing tool, the input is completely ignored. Runs fine in Model Builder itself!

Have you exposed the inputs as parameters so you change them when you run your model as a tool?
