How to use a plugin datastore with a corehost app

Question

We have created a plugin datastore around our data model.  I wanted to be able test various configurations in a corehost app.  However, when trying to load it in the app I get:

Could not open ... the plugin datasource with identifier '...'. Please make sure it has been deployed in the form of an Addin first.

I have deployed it as an add-in - and it does work in ArcGISPro context.

Is this even possible?  Is there someway to detect the add-in from within a corehost app?

Hi Ben,

Sorry about this, but plug in datasources are not supported in CoreHost apps at this time.
