Default ()now function does not work on Date/Time or Date fields in repeat

Have the function ()now in the default field for a dateTime field that is in a repeat on the XLS form.

Yet the form does not populate the dateTime field with the current data

Please email me the form. I cannot reproduce the problem. I used a modified version of the  the Nested Repeat sample to test.  There could be a combination of things that produce the problem you are seeing.
