How do I overwrite an existing web tool?

I made a change to a web tool, and I want to overwrite the existing one, but it says:

A web tool named xyz already exists. Please choose a differenent name that is unique within your organization.

I apologies for any convenience. At this moment, you need to

* Delete your existing tool
* Wait for a few minutes until it's fully cleaned up on the server side
* Publish your refreshed tool again.

This functionality will be available in Pro 2.6, or the release right after that. Stay tuned.

I don't do the webbie stuff, but this sounds like a case where you have to remove something and then add it back in when overwrites are not permitted because of indexing or other things.  Can you 'remove' a web tool? given you can add one?
