JAvaScript 2.8 IE8 Zoom slider not responding

Question

Hi All,
I'm currently developping a web site in asp.net mvc (+jquery) using an esri map (arcgis server 10.0).
My client browser is Internet Explorer 8.
When I use the javascript 2.5 API I haven't got any problem with the zoom slider.

But with a Version >= 2.6, this slider do nothing but sometime a bug happens and the map zoom correctly.
(for information, I try the web site with other browser and they don't have this problem)

Do you have a solution to this problem ?

I ran a quick test using the following sample from the help in IE8 and didn't have any issues with the zoom slider.

Can you reproduce with this sample? If not can you post a code sample that shows the problem?

Sorry for my previous post but I can reproduce it with your sample by exaggerating my movement. It seems easier to reproduce it when the slider's location is bottom right.

Hi,
Sorry for late answer. I was not  able to reproduce the problem with your samples but I can easily do it with the code attached.
To reproduce it, just drag and drop the slider but release the mouse click outside the "slider zones".
You have to be quick on to do it > 2 times without a delay between each try.

I don't have this bug when I use javascript version 2.5.
