pair Trimble Juno to collector

Question

I am having trouble pairing my Juno with an iPhone. Does it matter which device I start with? I can see the the iPhone from the Juno and I can see the Juno from the iPhone but pairing always fails or I am asked for a PIN (where does the PIN come from?) and then it fails.I have an iPhone 6s running iOS 12.3.1. Juno/Windows Handheld 6.5 running CE OS5.2.29336.

Update: I confirmed with Trimble that the Juno does not have this capability.
