Directions Widget customization

Hello.

In the new version 4.15 of ArcGis javascript, I want to be able to manipulate the viewModel of the Directions widget without success.

Is it possible to add features like printing, saving and adding barriers ?

I think it's possible, but perhaps not practical at this time. These features are under active development and we hope to have them released later this year. So if you can wait a few-ish months, we'll have them as part of the widget.
