SDE Monitoring utility

Question

I downloaded a utility to monitor SDE activities but for some reasons it gives error (see attachment). Have I missed something during installation? Please assist.

If you mean SDEMonitor, it is almost a certainty this tool is unusable with any current version of ArcSDE and ArcGIS. The last update I see is version 3 from 2004...

You really need to look at for example the new 10.1 Geodatabase Administration tools for some of this functionality in GUI form. It is not a replacement for specific functions of SDEMonitor regarding Application Servers, but might fullfill some of your needs.

Please post error messages as text.  This serves two purposes --
1) The folks reading your post will see the error message immediately, and
2) Folks who encounter the same error are likely to find your post (and its
solution) when searching with the message.

If you need to include an image, please use an image format (.jpg/.png), 
not a document format that supports scripting malware (fewer people are
 willing to download Word documents).

All initial posts should always include the version of ArcGIS you are using.
  A link to the unsupported utility would have been useful.
