I don’t know of any formal resources for you to review, outside of simply searching the internet for resources on the topic of interest. Depending on the type of telecom network you are trying to manage, I am sure a search will return something. For example, FTTH Network via Wikipedia has some good information to help you get started. I am sure you have already started down this path
On a related note, perhaps you would be interested in a demo of our ESRI specific partner solution for telecommunication asset management? (http://partners.esri.com/PartnerDetail?id=a2T70000000TNPrEAO) Through a small showcase of our solution, I could help you get up to speed on some concepts and terminology used in managing a telecommunication network. This could be an informal Q&A session, again, with the goal to help you get the answers you need in order to get you familiar with the domain. Let me know if this is something of interest. Thanks Derek. I've explored all the content on the Telecom pages and looked at some of the sample solutions. I guess I was looking for more regarding the assets and operations from the data management side.
