How to create a rectangle polygon from polyline?

Question

I would like to know a automated way to convert polylines into rectangle polygons based off the width attribution of the polyline. I would also like to transfer all polyline attributes to the polygon. I am converting bridge lines to surfaces.

use a planar buffer obtaining your width data from the appropriate field
