Directions widget doesn't work after log in without proxy

Question

I'm using the code here ArcGIS API for JavaScript Sandbox but with the proxy section removed. When loading the page I am prompted to login, after logging in the directions widget reads "There seems to have been an error.".

Sorry I do not work with a corporate proxy so I don't have the answer to that.

Must be my environment then. I'm at work and most applications go through a proxy to reach the web. I have the proxy URL, how would I add it to the test app?

When I remove the proxy and log in I am able to still get directions. I do get an error in the console about trying to access my org geocode service from developer.arcgis.com but that does not prevent the use of the directions widget.
