Is it possible to add a point data file (not published) from a database into a web map application (with select and filter capabilities) using the Geodatabase Access Tool in Arc Online.

Interesting, I find it odd that there is no documentation on this type of tool. Do you have a geodatabase access tool? When you click on it, it will list the tools:
I am guessing you (or the admin) will have to create a geodatabase access tool
